On Saturday, October 2nd eleven (11) Rotarians and family members assembled, sanded, cleaned and painted 34 stands for the Munster/Lake County bell ringing.  This project is important as the bell ringing season represents 70% of the Salvation Army income for the entire year.

Munster Rotary also supports the Salvation Army by ringing the bell and manning a kettle at Strack & Van Til's on Ridge Road in Munster during one day before the holidays.  This is just one of many benevolent organizations Munster Rotary supports each year.

This event also allowed for fellowship and visiting with Salvation Army leaders about other projects the Munster Club and Salvation Army could accomplish together.
