In the true spirit of community outreach, the Munster Rotary Club participated in the 2022 India Fest in Merrillville, IN on August 14. More than one thousand people enjoyed the food and cultural activities at the festival. Many people visited the Munster Rotary booth and inquired about the activities of the Club. Among the notable visitors to our booth were Congressman Frank Mrvan and Indiana State Representative Mike Andrade.
The display material highlighted the recent projects and initiatives of Munster Rotary, including the Dictionary Project, the Fundraising Spaghetti Dinner, the Rotary Run-a-Round, and donations to the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, the Salvation Army, and the Munster Police Department.
Rotarian Subir Bandyopadhyay and long-time volunteer Soumita Bandyopadhyay responded to the inquiries by the visitors to the Rotary booth.
